Marlene is a higher education senior administrator by day and a Ph.D. candidate by night, her research focuses on first generation college students, their career development experience, and use of social capital. On weekends, she runs her career transition strategy practice for early to mid-career women, The Fractured Strategist where she helps women create a game plan for acing career and life transitions. Marlene is the proud parent of Jordan and Scarlett and a sassy Yorkie named Max.
